How to make an India Ink tattoo?
I just want a small star next to my genital area. on my right upper thigh. where nobody can see it. and i’m only 16 but i really don’t care if i regret it later. it’s small. i’ve been using the needle and it’s just rubbing off. i’m not sure how long it’s really suppose to take to do?
please help and tell me how i can do it! AND DON’T SAY ‘DON’T DO IT YOU’LL REGRET IT’

i got a star right behind my ear when i was 16 with india ink and it turned out amazing. the thing with any tattoo you do with a needle or “poke n prick” style as its called where i am from is that you will have to go over each line many many times before the ink is set and is a good solid line. doing it yourself will take alot of time and is really painful compared to using a tattoo gun even a home made one. lucky for me my roommate at the time just completed his apprenticeship at a tattoo shop and knew exactly how to do mine. every now and then when i think of a small easy tattoo i can do myself i use a homemade tattoo gun that costs about 10$ to make. out of an electric toothbrush and a guitar string. it doesnt hurt nearly as bad as poke n prick and takes about 15 minutes compared to the hours i would spend stabbing myself over and over again with a needle hoping my lines where staying straight from the countless times i would have to go over them. go on youtube and type in easy homemade tattoo gun and you will find many cheap easy tattoo guns you can make in under 5 minutes. now that im 18 i get most of my work done in a shop. but ive been in your shoes and im just trying to save you a little time and pain. if the ink is just rubbing off no matter how many times you go over it your not going deep enough. you should be able to feel the needle poke through into your skin and feel it stick to your skin as your pulling it out. just remember dont use the same needle or whatever you are using as a needle on more then one person no matter what you think your doing to sterilize it, it still has a chance to transfer disease. with my homemade gun i use to use alot i was using a guitar string as a needle and was able to just cut off a new section of the string and put it in the gun if anyone else was ever going to be tattooed by it.
