What do the elements in the Chinese zodiac?
For example, the year of each animal as the horse, snake, rat, etc., all have sub categories of earth, fire, metal and water. How do they differ?
This works quite along the lines of the elements in astrology West, that can be divided into "control environment and interpersonal relationships. Under this philosophy, no element is considered the weaker or stronger. Each item is well controlled by another or can produce another element. In fact, all are considered equal because they are dependent on each other.
